Credits and Fees
Reservation Cancellation
Reservations may begin and/or end on the hour or half-hour. There is no charge for cancellation if the reservation is cancelled within one hour of making the reservation or more than 8 hours before scheduled use. If you cancel less than 8 hours before your reservation begins, you will be charged for any hour that is not subsequently reserved by another member.
Late Return
Returning the vehicle past the end of your reservation time without extending the reservation or contacting our office (at least 30 minutes prior to the end of your reservation) will result in an automatic $20 fee and potentially other fees if another member was inconvenienced. If you are running late, you are required to either extend your reservation or contact member services at least 30 minutes prior to the end of your scheduled reservation time.
Failure to Report Car Parked in Another Space
Occasionally an I-GO reserved parking space is unavailable for a returning vehicle. When this occurs the member is responsible for parking in the nearest available legal space and calling on-call staff to report the location. The fee for failing to report to the on-call staff is $75.00.
Inconveniencing Another Member
Member will be charged $75 plus costs for inconvenience another member (no ignition key, car not parked in I-GO space, etc.).
Cleaning
Emergency vehicle cleaning (interior not ready for the next member) is $100 plus cleaning cost.
Smoking or Carrying a Pet without a Carrier
The penalty for smoking in a vehicle or carrying a pet without an airline-type carrier is $100.
Vehicle Ignition Key Replacement
Vehicle ignition replacement fee is $50/hour plus materials.
Remote Vehicle Unlocking
The fee for providing remote access to vehicles through our on-call staff is $15.
Keycard Replacement
Members will be charged $15 for a new keycard.
Failure to Refuel
If the tank is at ¼ or less, members are required to refuel the vehicle, prior to the end of the scheduled reservation. Please use the gas card provided in the vehicle to refuel. Failure to do so will result in a $25 penalty. *Please note: In an effort to address rising costs and impact member services as minimally as possible, I-GO will no longer issue $2 credits for refueling.
Parking Tickets
Members are responsible for all parking tickets during a trip. Investigation, resolution of parking, towing, tickets, etc is $20/hour.
Vehicle Washing
Members earn up to a $5 reimbursement credit for washing a vehicle (receipt required).
Referrals
Members who refer new members receive a $20 credit per new member.
Dead Batteries
If a member is responsible for a dead battery in the car (dome or head lights left on) you will be charged $35.
